Our mission at The Adaptive Riding Program at J & S Performance Horses is to provide high-quality adaptive riding and equine-assisted programs that support the physical, emotional, and social well-being of individuals with disabilities. Overview
Our adaptive riding sessions offer clients the opportunity to engage in equine-assisted activities where they learn horsemanship skills both on the ground and in the saddle. The primary goal of these sessions is to foster self-advocacy, intellectual engagement, and physical strength in individuals with physical, cognitive, and emotional challenges. Each lesson plan is carefully tailored to meet the unique needs and objectives of the rider. Qualified adaptive riding instructors guide riders through a structured progression of skills, beginning with the basics and advancing to create capable and confident riders.
