Welcome
The Adaptive Riding Program, Inc. is a nonprofit organization dedicated to making adaptive horseback riding and adaptive horsemanship accessible to all. Our adaptive sessions offer clients the opportunity to engage in equine-assisted activities where they learn horsemanship skills both on the ground and in the saddle. The primary goal of these sessions is to foster self-advocacy, intellectual engagement, and physical strength in individuals with physical, cognitive, and emotional challenges. Each lesson plan is carefully tailored to meet the unique needs and objectives of the client. Qualified adaptive instructors guide riders through a structured progression of skills, beginning with the basics and advancing to create capable and confident riders.
Our Programs
Adaptive Riding offers mounted and unmounted opportunities to blend skill building, recreation, and education in a supportive environment.
